CIRCUS FOR KIDS CLASS

For Girls and Boys 7-12 years old

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024-25 SEASON OPENS SOON

Our Circus For Kids class is for boys and girls ages 7-12.  

This class will be an active introduction to circus skills.     

The class is designed to be a safe and engaging activity where students can learn a variety of acrobatic, circus and performing skills in fun and cooperative environment. Those skills will create a foundation for acrobatics and performance. 

DISCIPLINES AND TECHNIQUES

We will explore several circus disciplines in the circus acrobatics class.  Every specific discipline has its very own skill progression and we will teach each one accordingly.  Any experience level is welcome to participate.  Students will each have an act concentration in addition to sampling various disciplines

CLASS SCHEDULE AND LOCATION

Classes will be held on Sundays from 1:00 to 2:00.  Classes start September 8th at the Haskin Circus Complex at Florida State University.  Click here to  see a map of the location.

The fall class session will run from September 8th to November 24th.   Classes will resume on February 2nd and run until April 13th. 

REGISTRATION AND FEES

The price for this class is $300 for the fall session.   The cost of the spring session is $300.  There is a registration fee of $50 due at registration.  Fees can be paid in monthly installments or paid in full.

Registration for the 2024-25 season will open July 2024.

SPRING PERFORMANCE

At the conclusion of the spring session we will hold a performance under the big top to showcase all that students have learned throughout the year.  The spring performance will be in April of 2024.  There will be a fee to participate in the spring performance due in October to cover the cost of costumes and the event.
